R RESPECT: A good team leader will always RESPECT and coach the dog on how to fulfill his place in the team. In turn the dog will learn to RESPECT you as well.
E EDUCATION: Your dog is an intelligent creature with a great capacity to learn many things. When you provide EDUCATION instead of force there should be no road blocks in training your dog.
A ACTION: Your ACTIONS speak louder than words. ACT to keep your dog safe. ACT to interrupt your dog. ACT to re-direct your dog. Your ACTIONS, not your words, will demonstrate to your dog that you are the team leader.
T TEAM WORK: Dogs instinctively want to be part of the pack, so why not make it a successful one? It is all about developing a TEAM atmosphere between family and dog. TEAM WORK makes the dream work.

Dogs are social pack animals and will quickly follow a good leader. So our training programs are designed to establish you and the members of your family as leaders. Think of it as a great team with your immediate family being the team coaches and your dog being a team player.
We teach you numerous techniques to let your dog know who is in charge. The best place to establish leadership is in your dog's mind. Your dog needs to believe and accept that you are his leaders. Then training and teaching your dog good manners is being administrated by the team leaders. For example, should a team player give you an assignment you may or my not do it. If the coach gives you an assignment you will do it. So you want to be the coach!
The most difficult part of dog training is getting you to modify your personal behavior so that your dog will believe that you are in charge. We help coach you and your family so that you can become effective leaders for your dog. YES, much of the training is for the family.
You are introduced to The T.R.E.A.T.S. System so you actually learn how your dog thinks and what your dog needs from you. This system is the result of over 50 years of actual dog training experience, not just text book theory. We promise it is unlike any training program that you have experienced before.
We have been through most training modalities from shear force to nothing but treats; and everything in between. Since then, we have evolved and blended our style into a nicely balanced training system.
We have come to numerous conclusions about dogs and training methods. Today we use a blend of training styles and make sure that you and your dog become a great team. Our focus is on setting up a quality team structure that both you and your dog can understand and participate in. We use many training styles and approaches so that your entire team may flourish.
We believe that one style of training does not always work for all teams. Dogs come in many shapes, sizes, breeds and with unique personalities. With our vast training experiences we can shift gears quickly from one training style to another as needed.
Some dogs may thrive in a military training situation, while others are devastated by this type of training. Other dogs are treat motivated enough to learn, while some actually are distracted from learning by the treats.
We totally know that The T.R.E.A.T.S. System is rock solid and effective when used continually. We do not believe there are any real secrets to dog training. Our system is all about proper techniques, consistency, quality coaching and loving leadership.
